This activity begins the Treating Depression Lab. The data compares two treatments for depression to a placebo. In the lab you will analyze data to answer two research questions:
- Which of the drugs (if either) was more successful in preventing the recurrence of depression relative to the placebo?
- Which of the drugs (if either) delayed the recurrence of depression longer relative to the placebo?
The Treating Depression Lab has four parts:
Part 1 (quiz): questions to prepare you to analyze the data to answer the 1st research question
Part 2 (discussion): ArtOfStat, Python, or R analysis and discussion of results to answer the 1st research question
Part 3 (quiz): questions to prepare you to analyze the data to answer the 2nd research question
Part 4 (discussion): ArtOfStat, Python, or R analysis and discussion of results to answer the 2nd research question
