Past Participle-Introduction

Past participle, often called "the 3rd form of the verb" can end in -ed (for regular verbs) or a special form if the verb is irregular.

Regular verbs: -ed

Irregular verbs: gone, blown, swum, ridden, etc.

We use past participle with perfect tenses (have written, had swum, will have ridden, would have woken up).
